Happy Thursday, WilCo Seniors!

We gathered at a local favorite in Georgetown-Blue Corn Harvest, where 8 complete strangers showed up with open minds and left having made new connections, shared stories, and a few new friends. That's exactly the kind of magic we hoped for. The food was delicious and there were simple, genuine moments of conversations around the dinner table.

And this is just the beginning. We're already looking forward to the next one and we'd love for you to be part of it. Look out for the next dinner date in the newsletter.

Come curious. Leave connected.

This week, we are highlighting The Williamson Museum.

Located right on the Georgetown Square, this museum is the heartbeat of our local history. They do a fantastic job of bringing the past to life through rotating exhibits and their famous "Saloons and Sins" tours. If you have ever wanted to know who really built the buildings we walk past every day, this is the place to start.

They are always looking for volunteer docents to help guide tours and share stories with visitors. It is a perfect way to stay social and give back to our community history.

Whether you are a lifelong resident or a newcomer, a quick visit here will make you appreciate Williamson County even more.

Reader Pick: Sweet Lemon Kitchen, Georgetown

This tucked-away gem is famous for its fresh salads, homemade soups, and incredible baked goods. It is located in a charming restored cottage just off the square. Many local seniors love it for a quiet lunch with friends. Be sure to try the lemon poppy seed cake before you leave.

Blue Hole Park Parking Tip

With the weather warming up, Blue Hole is becoming a popular spot for morning walks. To avoid the crowds and find easy parking, try the parking garage on Rock Street rather than the small lot directly at the park entrance. It is a short, beautiful walk over the bridge and keeps you away from the midday congestion.
